The Challenge

Jewish Family and Child Service (JFCS), a UJA-supported agency, provides a wide range of critical programs for families in crisis — from counselling and social work to specialized support for children with learning challenges and survivors of abuse. They needed content that would:

• Communicate their impact to donors and community stakeholders.

• Spotlight the Jerome Diamond Centre (JDD), a program that helps children with learning disabilities and difficult childhood experiences find stability and success.

• Handle sensitive storytelling with care, ensuring that interviews with clients, social workers, and executives honored personal hardships while celebrating resilience.

The goal was not only awareness, but also to support fundraising by showing tangible outcomes that donor contributions make possible.

Our Approach

Corbin Visual designed and executed a content strategy to bring JFCS’s mission to life:

• Interview-Led Storytelling: Conducted interviews with executives, social workers, program recipients, and JDD staff, prompting authentic stories that highlighted both challenges and impact.

• Delicate Facilitation: Crafted thoughtful scripts and question prompts, leading interviews in a sensitive, respectful style appropriate for deeply personal subject matter.

• Content Versatility: Produced a suite of assets — long-form hero videos, event-ready features, and social cutdowns — giving JFCS material for donor outreach, campaigns, and community storytelling.

• Visual Profile of the JDD: Captured the unique learning environment at the Jerome Diamond Centre, showcasing its role as a safe and supportive space where children can thrive.

• Event Coverage: Captured and produced a sizzle reel of JFCS’s annual fundraising gala, which featured world-class chefs and community celebrations. The video highlighted the event’s reach, showcased donor contributions, and built excitement for future fundraising campaigns

The Outcome
